Preparation and application

1. Mix 20–30 g of algae powder with 80–100 ml of mineral water using a spatula until smooth.
2. Apply the mask immediately and evenly to the face and front of the neck using the spatula.
3. Leave the mask on for 15–20 minutes.
4. Carefully remove the mask, starting at the bottom of the neck and peeling upwards.

Professional applications

CALM Algae Mask is particularly suited as a finishing mask following professional cosmetic treatments such as exfoliation or microdermabrasion. It can also be incorporated into compatible iontophoresis and light-based protocols according to the appropriate professional treatment procedure.

Selected Dermedics® MESO products may also be incorporated into the professional mask protocol where specified, allowing the practitioner to adapt the treatment to the client's individual cosmetic needs.

Useful tips:

• Protect the hairline around the forehead and temples before application.
• Use disposable paper towels, as wet alginate can be difficult to remove from ordinary cotton towels.
• Avoid application directly along the lash line unless the practitioner is experienced with this technique.

After removal, continue with the appropriate finishing products for the treatment being performed. For ongoing CALM care at home, recommend the relevant CALM cleansing, exfoliating, serum, eye-care and cream products according to the client's needs.
